Primary Work
My commissioned work focuses on portraits that preserve a person’s essential character — portraits which feel genuine, dignified, and enduring.

Black and White
In black and white, elemental image elements — light, shadow, and structure — become preeminent. In portraiture, attention shifts to identity-defining details: bearing, expression, and emotion. Fundamental character qualities — steadiness, strength, warmth, and humor — are amplified.

Approach
My session approach is calm, respectful, simple, and unhurried, with minimal direction. The goal is a non-pressured environment where genuine expression arrives organically.

Prints
I offer museum-quality black and white prints made with archival pigment inks on fine-art paper. I print with a dedicated and exceptionally unique monochrome ink system.

Other Work
I also offer commissioned action photography, primarily water sports.
